Hello! I am an Assistant Professor of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Kırşehir Ahi Evran University, where I lead research on rheumatologic rehabilitation, upper extremity function, and manual therapy techniques. My work focuses on improving functional outcomes and quality of life in individuals with rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory conditions through innovative mobilization strategies and digital health technologies.
I received my B.Sc. in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation from İstanbul Medipol University, where I worked with Prof. Z. Candan Algun on task-oriented training approaches for individuals with rheumatoid arthritis. I then completed my M.Sc. at the same institution, continuing my research into functional training and upper extremity rehabilitation in rheumatic diseases.
In 2025, I earned my Ph.D. in Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation from Haliç University under the supervision of Prof. Ayşe Nur Tunalı. My doctoral research focused on Mobilization with Movement (MWM) techniques in individuals with rheumatoid arthritis, examining the immediate and long-term effects of passive joint mobilizations on hand proprioception, reaction time, and functional performance.
Beyond my academic research, I have developed smartphone-based tools for joint range of motion assessment and hold several patents, including a Smart Crawling Table for Rhythmic Arm-Leg Coordination.
My ultimate goal is to bridge clinical practice with technological innovation, creating evidence-based rehabilitation protocols and accessible digital solutions that empower both patients and clinicians while advancing the field of rheumatologic rehabilitation.
